Your Duties:  

The Lead Transaction Coordinator will lead a local and virtual team of experienced Junior Transaction Coordinators. As the leader of the team your primary role will be to oversee the management of every file, every document, every disclosure, every inspection, every report. You will be the “keeper of the timeline” and the “voice and email” for every client. As the supreme overseer, you will coordinate the efforts of your team members to efficiently and accurately deliver and create documents to the appropriate parties of the deal. You will coordinate your team members to deliver on deadlines, to set and followup on appointments, followup on reports and to close every file in a manner that will lead to an AFI Certification.

Basically, you will be the person who knows everything about everything!


Preferred Experience:

  • Have a real estate license

  • 3 to 5 years direct experience managing real estate paperwork

  • A keen understanding of the process of listing or purchasing real estate in your local market

  • Exposure and proficiency with various tools such as the MLS, ZipForms or DootLoop, eSignature Programs, CRM Software, Adobe, and GoogleSuite

  • Customer Service Background

The Business Development Associate will work with an established team of Transaction Coordinators within the assigned territory.  The BDA will network real estate professionals, real estate brokerages, and developers in order to present AFI as a solution to their file management needs. 

AFI’s Business Development Associates are not only presenting AFI services to real estate sales professionals you will also work with our future clients as a true “BDA”, meaning, you will be expected to be a resource to agents in various ways to grow their brand.

Preferred Experience:

  • Have a real estate license (or ability to acquire)

  • 3 to 5 years direct experience networking within the professional real estate community

  • A keen understanding of your local real estate market (everything from trends to local customs)

  • Exposure and proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and able to be a power smartphone user

  • Customer Service Background

Summary:

We are looking for an efficient Mortgage Loan Processor to process mortgage loan files and help clients submit complete applications. You will gather all necessary documentation and spot mistakes to ensure approval for the mortgage.

If you want to succeed as a mortgage loan processor, you should be highly detail oriented. Customer service and communication skills are key since you’ll be the glue that binds all interested parties, from clients to underwriters. Mortgage loan processors should also have an aptitude in math and excellent time management skills.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Perform a general evaluation of an application (financial documents, mortgage type etc.)

  • Help client choose the most appropriate mortgage

  • Gather all important data from client (assets, debts etc.)

  • Verify information and references by contacting the right sources

  • Correct mistakes and investigate inconsistencies

  • Submit completed loan files for appraisal

  • Act as point of contact between loan officers, underwriters and clients

  • Conduct a final review of the file before closing

 

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as mortgage loan processor or similar position

  • Understanding of loan underwriting and processing procedures

  • Knowledge of legislation and best practices

  • Proficient in mortgage loan computer software (e.g. Calyx Point)

  • Outstanding communication and customer service skills

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Well-organized and able to handle pressure

  • Math skills

  • High school diploma; bachelor’s will be preferred
